OUR STORY

It all began as a small gathering of folks seeking God in the rural area between New Chapel Hill and Arp, Texas.  In the late 70’s the church then known as Lakeview Assembly purchased property on Hwy 64 East near Lake Tyler.  Shortly after construction of the building was complete the young Evangelist Leon and his wife Robbie Batchelor became Senior Pastors.  Their tenure at Lakeview would span 28 years until they returned to the evangelistic field once again in 2009.

Today under the direction of Senior Pastors Paul and Maranda Rains the church continues to expand upon the work God has called Lakeview Community Church to do in the Lake Tyler and surrounding community.

LCC is involved in feeding and clothing those less fortunate, providing school supplies to our kids who need a little extra boost and reaching out to support missions in countries around the world.   Here at LCC we value helping others, building strong families, and investing in our children and youth is a top priority.

Lakeview Community Church has built a strong foundation, a great heritage and continues to develop deep roots in our community.   Over the years the church has been blessed with a 16 acre campus including a student center and a recently expanded and renovated sanctuary and fellowship space.

We’re excited and amazed at what God is doing and can’t wait to see what He does next.
